Serves Meals for Dogs Made with Simple, Natural Ingredients likeChicken Meatballs, Sweet Potatoes and Brown Rice

Daytime television host, best selling author and pet lover Rachael Ray announced today the launch of a food truck – for dogs!  The truck will make stops in New York City to celebrate her recently-launched line of natural wet food for dogs called Rachael Ray Nutrish® Naturally Delish™.  Naturally Delish is inspired by tasty recipes from Rachael’s own kitchen and is made with simple, wholesome ingredients like tender cuts of real meat and farm picked vegetables.

Rachael Ray’s food truck for dogs will roll through New York City for three days, beginning October 18th, making stops in Columbus Circle and Union Square. Fans are invited to follow @Nutrish on Twitter for up-to-the-minute updates on the truck’s whereabouts. The truck will serve pooches a menu of delicious flavors from Rachael’s Naturally Delish line, including:

  • Chicken Muttballs & Pasta: Yummy chicken meatballs plus tender carrots, spinach and pasta cooked in a tasty chicken broth.
  • Hearty Beef Stew: Hearty chunks of beef plus garden vegetables like peas, carrots and potatoes, all simmered in a yummy, home-style beef gravy.
  • Chicken Paw Pie: Juicy bites of chicken with a medley of green beans and sweet potatoes in a savory chicken gravy.
  • Savory Lamb Stew: Tender morsels of lamb mixed with carrots, spinach and brown rice make for a great-tasting classic stew.

“‘Naturally Delish’ is a very exciting product for me, because I’m bringing food that looks like homemade meals from my kitchen to the bowls of our four-legged friends. What better way to celebrate this than with a food truck for dogs?” said Rachael Ray. “I treat my Isaboo like she is a member of my family – and with “Naturally Delish’ she now eats like one.”

During the three-day dog food truck tour, Rachael and Nutrish are partnering with Best Friends Animal Society, which operates the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for abused, abandoned animals, and two of its local rescue partners Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons and Husky House. Best Friends Animal Society will offer on-site adoptions for those who want to give a home to a homeless pet. Rachael is dedicated to helping animals in need and donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Nutrish to support shelters and animal support organizations.

Naturally Delish lives up to its name, as it’s a natural product, containing no meat by-products or fillers, no artificial flavors, colors or artificial preservatives. There’s no corn or soy in any of the four stews, and no wheat in three of the four. The Chicken Muttballs variety does contain a pasta piece that is made from semolina wheat flour.

Nutrish Naturally Delish is packaged conveniently in re-sealable plastic containers, making it a great food to be enjoyed by dogs of all sizes. As of today, Nutrish is available in most grocery stores and Walmart, at an average retail price of $1.99-$2.09. Complete listings can be found by visiting
